Consortium Agreement with Kane County Office of Community Reinvestment for the 2023-2025 HOME Investment Partnerships Program (No Cost to the City) Objective: Provide for the utilization of federal funds for projects targeted towards homeowner rehabilita-tion, homebuyer assistance, and the development of affordable housing in partnership with the Kane County Office of Community Reinvestment.

Approving Selected Recipients for the 2022 Historic Architectural Rehabilitation Grant Program ($111,646) Objective: Increase the effectiveness of the use of historic grant program funds and award a grant to owners of historic landmark properties or those located within the City’s historic districts for exterior rehabilitation and restoration work to their residential properties.
04:13C. Acceptance of Elgin Township Grant for Kids United Summer Program ($19,045 grant) Objective: Continue offering programming to support youth initiatives that provide prevention and engagement opportunities for the City’s youth.
14:04D. Kane County Child Advocacy Center Agreement for Investigating Sensitive Crimes Involving Children ($35,000) Objective: Provide investigative and victim services for cases involving children who have been victimized by sexual or serious physical abuse.

Engineering Services Agreement with Gewalt Hamilton Associates, Inc. for the 2022 Central Area Resurfacing Project ($119,449) Objective: Provide field inspection, design interpretation, contract administration including all required Motor Fuel Tax documentation, and general coordination and control of the day-to-day construction activities for the resurfacing of various residential streets for the 2022 Central Area Resurfacing Project.
20:07F. Change Order No. 1 and Final for the 2021-2022 Bulk Road Salt Procurement ($70,000) Objective: Allow for payment of additional bulk road salt quantities under a joint purchasing contract through the State of Illinois Department of Central Management Services
21:02G. Metro West Council of Government Membership Renewal ($30,000) Objective: Maintain membership with a council of governments comprised of far west suburban area municipalities organized to advance regional issues through intergovernmental problem solving and cooperation.
